Abstract

Cucurbit[7]uril adsorbs SO2 selectively over other gas molecules such as C2H2, C2H4, C2H6, CH4, F2, Cl2, NO2, NO, CO2, CO, H2S, N2, and H2, because of the combined effects of electrostatic and dispersion interactions.
