Abstract

An experimental and theoretical study describe the behavior of phosphinyl nitrosoalkenes with indole, pyrrole and 2,5-dimethylpyrrole. Both, an electrophilic aromatic substitution and a [4 + 2] cycloaddition mechanism, were evaluated.
