Abstract

The presence of octyloxy chains in the o,o-, o,p- or o-positions, instead of bulky t-butyl groups at the m-positions of the four phenyl groups of β-substituted ZnII-tetraarylporphyrinate dyes, improves the power conversion efficiency in DSSCs.
