Abstract

The photodynamic properties of a series of Fe(III)-MOFs have been examined via redox reactions with N,N,N',N'-tetramethyl-p-phenylenediamine as an electron donor and methyl viologen as an electron acceptor. Furthermore, photogeneration of long-lived species in MIL-88B(Fe) has been proven via transient absorption spectroscopy. ; Fonds voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek G0402.09 G0413.10 G0697.11 G0197.11 1.5.051.13N ; KU Leuven Research Fund GOA 2011/03 OT/12/059 ; Flemish government CASAS METH/08/04 ; Federal Science Policy of Belgium IAP-VII/05 ; Laurier, KGM.; Fron, E.; Atienzar Corvillo, PE.; Kennes, K.; García Gómez, H.; Van Der Auweraer, M.; De Vos, DE.
