Abstract

A novel 2D Cu([iota]) metal-organic polymer could display extensive visual colorimetric changing ranges toward 11 anionic species in aqueous solutions. Additionally, among a series of anion combinations, it still exhibits high selective separation with corresponding colorimetric responses.
