Abstract

We synthesised heteroleptic azadipyrrinato-dipyrrinato hybrid zinc(ii) complex , by means of the stepwise coordination method. Homoleptic bis(azadipyrrinato)zinc(ii) complex was non-fluorescent, whereas exhibited detectable fluorescence from azadipyrrinato ligand .
