Abstract

We present a series of four new structures of hydrated 1,8-bis(dimethylamino)-naphthalene hydrochlorides containing unique infinite chains of hydrated Cl− ions which form 1-D ribbon moieties passing through the crystal lattice in space created between stacks of DMANH+ cations.
