Abstract

Poly[2-(methacryloyloxy)ethylphosphorylcholine]-coated SPIONs were prepared through ATRP and amidation coupling reactions. The coated SPIONs exhibited high stability and re-dispersability in phosphate buffered saline and uptake in a stem cell line, with high T2 relaxivity.
