Abstract

The electronic synergy of Fe nanoclusters and Ni/Fe–N4 single-atomic sites optimizes the adsorption/desorption of oxygenated intermediates and reduces the energy barrier of the oxygen electrocatalysis, boosting the Zn–air batteries performance.
