Abstract

High-entropy metal carbide nanoparticles (Mo0.2W0.2V0.2Cr0.2Nb0.2C) have been synthesized by a Br-based poly(ionic liquid)-assisted assembly strategy, and exhibited unexpected activity and stability for the dehydrogenation of ethylbenzene with CO2.
