Abstract

Carbon monoxide as a corrosion marker that enables real-time monitoring of electrochemical carbon corrosion in a wide range of electrolyte pH, even in neutral and alkaline media, where the typical carbon dioxide marker is transformed to (bi)carbonate anions.
