Abstract

The first alkaline earth borate-nitrate, namely Ba2B5O8(OH)2(NO3)·3H2O, has been synthesized, and is generated from Ba2B5O8(OH)2OH. This work is an essential reference to predict and synthesize new borate-nitrates.
