Abstract

An in situ photothermal synthesis is developed to prepare α/γ-Fe2O3-derived Fe5C2 catalyst with a tunable exposed crystal facet. The catalyst achieves a selectivity for C2=–C4= as high as 71.9% with the olefin/paraffin ratio for C2–C4 up to 16.7.
