Abstract

A novel heterodinuclear Fe(iii)/K(i) catalyst is reported for the ring-opening copolymerization of epoxides and anhydrides, achieving turnover frequencies of up to 4800 h−1. It also shows activity for a broad range of bio-derived monomers.
