Abstract

Fe,N-doped carbon nanorods with abundant hierarchical pores and highly active sites were prepared by using 1D Fe–ZIF-8 as templates. The optimized 5Fe–N/C-NR is a highly efficient oxygen reduction electrocatalyst in both alkaline and acidic media.
