A highly efficient (IQE = 90.2%) and thermally stable (I150 °C = 88.7%) broadband NIR emitting fluoride Cs2KGaF6:Cr3+ is explored. Meanwhile, a multipurpose high-performance NIR pc-LED with a photoelectric conversion efficiency of 22.05% is achieved.
