Abstract

Efficient Suzuki cross-coupling is promoted by ultrathin palladium single atom catalyst with molecularly precise Pd-N3C1 subunit, which is attributed to a facilitated oxidative addition on electron-rich Pd centers than conventional Pd-N4 coordination.
