Abstract

Four terpyridine copper(ii) complexes were prepared and they showed excellent cytotoxic activity, which induced mitochondrion-mediated apoptosis and cell cycle arrest in the G0/G1 phase. Complex 1 suppressed cell proliferation in vivo.
