Abstract

The preferred geometry for hybrid organic photovoltaic-thermoelectric hybrid devices is a transmission, contact geometry. Besides the extra energy afforded by the thermoelectric, for organics, the photovoltaic efficiency improves when hot (cf. inorganics).
