Abstract

Novel 1D Cu@C nanofibers with carbon encapsulated Cu nanoparticles dispersed on carbon nanofibers were synthesized by in situ pyrolysis of organic-layered copper hydroxides for overall water splitting with superior activity and excellent durability.
