Abstract

Hydroxyethyl starch (HES) was directly conjugated with cis-platinum prodrugviaan ester bond and decorated with active targeting molecule, lactobionic acid (LA), to afford LA-HES-Pt, which contributes toward higherin vitroantitumor activity against hepatoma carcinoma cells, HepG-2, as compared to cis-platinum.
