Abstract

A novel organic cathode material has been synthesized by grafting 2,3-dicyano-p-benzoquinone (DCBQ) onto carbon nanotubes, exhibiting not only high capacities but also remarkable long cycling stabilities in both lithium and sodium ion batteries.
