Abstract

We have successfully prepared ultrathin WO3nanosheets with enriched oxygen vacancies and enhanced surface roughness by Ar plasma exfoliation. Owing to the unique interactions, the Pt nanoparticles supported on defective WO3show significantly enhanced electrocatalytic activity for the methanol oxidation reaction.
