Abstract

A three-dimensionally stretchable supercapacitor without an elastic substrate is created by designing a pyramid structure. Its specific capacitances are varied below 7% after stretching for thousands of cycles in three dimensions, and it exhibits the highest power and energy densities among the currently available stretchable supercapacitors.
