Abstract

An intermetallic Ph-shift (SnIV-to-CoIII) leads to a CoIII(Ph)–SnIV(Ph) and a mononuclear CoIII(Ph) compounds, while a M⋯π(Ph) interaction in the NiII/CuII–SnIV systems represents an intermediate stage of that Ph-shift.
