Abstract

In the title compound, C(8)H(10)N(2)O(2), the acetohydrazide group is almost planar, with an r.m.s. deviation of 0.028 angstrom. In the crystal, the molecules are linked by intermolecular C-H center dot center dot center dot O, N-H center dot center dot center dot O and N-H center dot center dot center dot N hydrogen bonds into infinite sheets lying parallel to (001). The acetohydrazide O atom accepts two N-H center dot center dot center dot O links and one C-H center dot center dot center dot O link.
