Abstract

Subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) is the subtype of stroke with the most unfavorable outcome but the least well investigated molecular pathophysiology. Among others, not sufficiently well standardized in vivo models suitable for the use with transgenic animals may be responsible for this situation.
