Abstract

We report on a new means for obtaining time information via long-wave signals, provided by Europäische Funkrundsteuerung GmbH (EFR) via three transmitters located at Mainflingen, Germany (129.1 KHz), Burg, Germany (139.0 kHz), and Lakihegy, Hungary (135.6 kHz), respectively. The signals are received and continuously monitored by Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt, PTB, in Braunschweig.
