Abstract

ABSTRACT On the basis of multilocus phylogenetic data, Fonsecaea nubica was described in 2010 as a molecular sibling of F. monophora , an established agent of the human skin disease chomoblastomycosis in tropical zones. Genome analysis of these pathogens is mandatory to identify genes involved in the interaction with host and virulence.
