Abstract

Pregnant women with pandemic (H1N1) 2009 virus infection are at increased risk for severe illness and complications. Recent reports have shown that this infection causes disproportionate illness and death in pregnant women and has been associated with adverse fetal and neonatal outcomes. We characterized the severity of pandemic (H1N1) 2009 virus infection among pregnant women in Taiwan.
