Center for Special Needs Education in Nara University of Education provides counseling and consultation services for children with developmental disorders, their families,and teachers. We added up the number of cases from 2007 to 2015 and investigated a recent tendency. As a result, the total number of clients and the counseling number of times per one case both increased. Moreover approach style has been changing toward to taking enough time on every case in cooperation with other organizations. On the other hand, the service of consultation for teachers was not used so much. The present study showed that the role of Center had changed in accordance with clients’ needs. Some of future tasks were discussed.
