As adolescent cannabis users show a significantly increased risk for psychotic disorders in comparison to nonusers, preventive measures would be particularly important in this age group. In this case report, we will discuss cannabis use as a risk factor for the development of psychotic symptoms and for the potential aggravation of the course of psychotic disorders by providing an illustrative example of a young patient with a religious delusion.
