Abstract

幼稚園・保育所に在籍している発達に気がかりのある幼児の支援を行うため「相談ルー ム」を設置した.相談ルームでは秋田大学と特別支援学校が協働して,幼児,保護者及び 幼稚園・保育所の職員に対する支援の在り方を検討した.主な支援の内容は,幼児への指 導,保護者への相談,幼稚園・保育所への情報提供であった.その結果,発達検査や保護 者へのインタビューにより幼児の成長や発達が示唆された.また,保護者の養育に対する 自信と,就学への前向きな姿勢に寄与した.さらに,幼稚園・保育所の職員が幼児を支援 するための配慮事項を理解することができた.課題として,就学先決定後の追跡とフォロー アップ,小学校との連携の強化,相談ルームの運営体制の強化が挙げられた. ; A counseling office was created to provide assistance to children in kindergartens and nursery schools in whom there are developmental concerns. The office worked in collaboration with Akita University and special support schools to examine into the approach to be taken to support the children, their guardians and school personnel. Support consisted chiefly of guidance to children, counseling with their guardians and information service to kindergartens and nursery schools. Examinations conducted on the children and interviews with the guardians suggested growth and development of the children. It also contributed to building guardian confidence toward care of the children and to more positive stance toward school enrollment. Teachers at kindergartens and nurseries also gained understanding of the points of attention in providing support to the children. The issues requiring action were, for example, monitoring and follow-up after selection of school, strengthening of relationship with elementary schools and reinforcing the management system of the counseling offices.
