Abstract

About 30% of vertebrobasilar infarctions are located in the cerebellum, realising various clinical pictures. Cerebellar infarcts deserve attention from non-neurologists, because they are frequent, can go misdiagnosed, and may need life-salvage therapy. In this work we describe two cases of recent observation, and summarize the clinical characteristics of acute cerebellar infarcts.
