The authors present a literature review about international adoptive process, paying particular attention to clinical problems linked to it. the authors tackle this subject considering first the parental couple and the adopted child separatly; then what comes out from interpersonal relationship and reciprocal effects within the adoptive experience. Finally two clinical vignettes are presented.
