Abstract

Core electron excitation VIS(visible)-VUV(vacuum ultraviolet) luminescence measurements of the quaternary Ⅲ-Ⅴ nitride alloys, InxAlyGa1-x-yN, have been performed in ls core electron excitation regions of both nitrogen and aluminum. In each spectrum, there are two luminescence bands (blue and yellow band). Those luminescence spectra and their temperature dependence are compared with those for band-to-band excitation.
