Abstract

In our past study, we conducted compression tests with laminated veneer lumber of Japanese Larch and we could evaluate the bucking strength with Euler's equation and Tetmajer's method. For structural design we should modify or improve that method.In this study, we would compare that some calculated values from different methods. We could see that the elastic buckling strength with Euler's equation is higher than that with Japanese Standard's method.
