Abstract

We demonstrate an experimental investigation on forced convection heat removal for high power digital broadcast filters by using microparticle suspensions flowing through a multi-channels cooling system. The flow passes through the channel under a uniform temperature and laminar flow conditions. The process of heat transfer was examined by thermal image camera at various flow rates. The temperature distribution and convective heat transfer coefficient for micro particle suspension and DI water was measured and compared.
