Abstract

We report the phase transition behavior of the samples Th5−xBaxPb2−0.5xCu5O13+y(x=2.75-3.75) between 20°C and 1300°C, and the effect of heat treatment on the superconductivity. The specific heat, DSC and DTA as well as TGA investigations have been performed. The second-order-like transition around 240°C was observed by DTA and Spesific heat determination. The results are shown in Fig.1 and Fig.2.
