The development of lumen-apposing metal stents (LAMSs) has allowed endoscopic bypass for nonsurgical patients. Stent dislodgement during deployment is a dreaded adverse event. We present a case of a 90-year-old man with groove pancreatitis and gastric outlet obstruction, refractory to balloon dilation, who presented for endoscopic bypass.
