Abstract

Manuscript: 14 pages, 5 figures ; International audience ; A chromium-doped saturable absorber fiber stabilizes an otherwise spontaneously chaotically self-pulsing ytterbium-doped fiber laser . This original passively Q-switched all-fiber laser produces sustained and relatively stable trains of smooth pulses at high repetition rate.
