Abstract

Inside Front Cover: Advanced Functional Materials Vol 25 Issue 16 (2015-04-22) ; Hybrid organometal halide perovskites have been demonstrated to have outstanding performance as semiconductors for solar energy conversion. The understanding of their intrinsic properties is a fundamental step towards the technological exploitation of these materials. The article by G. R. Blake, J. Even, M. A. Loi, and co-workers on page 2378 investigates these intrinsic properties by studying the structural and photophysical properties of high quality single crystals of CH3NH3PbI3 from room temperature to 5 K.
