Abstract

5-{(Pyridin-4-ylmethyl)amino} isophthalic acid is used to synthesize three new copper(II), zinc(II), and cadmium(II) metal−organic frameworks which act as heterogeneous catalysts for the peroxidative oxidation of alcohols as well as for the Henry reaction of different aldehydes in water.
