Abstract

Imaging of an eGFP-anillin mESC colony. Time lapse imaging of a transgenic eGFP-anillin mESC colony. All mESCs are in the cell cycle and therefore eGFP-anillin+. Note the progression from a nuclear to a cytoplasmic eGFP-anillin signal, followed by its localization in the contractile ring and midbody; eventually midbodies disappear and eGFP-anillin is detectable in the nuclei of the daughter cells. Pictures were taken every 5 min, frame rate = 5 per s. Scale bar, 20 μm.
