In this study, for the first time have been introduced lichen flora of Shast kalate forest from Golestan province,The collections were done in July 2015.A total 26 species belonging to 19 genera and 14 families have been reported from this area. Among the different growth forms of lichens,crustose lichens were with 13 dominant species, foliose lichens with 9 species and fruticose with 4 species. Most of the lichens were corticolous in this area. Corticolous lichens growing with 22 species, terricolous with 2 species and saxicolous also with 2 species. Identification and naming Samples collected in this area done based morphology, anatomy and using chemical tests.
