An anisotropic response to the slowly rotating AC magnetic field was studied for YBCO melt-textured and twinned single-crystal samples. The results have been treated assuming the existence of two independent critical current densities in the sample plane (Jcab and Jcc for the textured sample; Jc|| along the twin boundaries (TBs) and Jc,⊥ across the TBs for the single crystals).
