Abstract

Introduction and purpose: Excessive anticoagulation is a frequent complication of anticoagulant therapy, associated with high morbidity and mortality rates. The aim of the present study is to determine the factors associated with a poor outcome in patients with prolonged INR due to anticoagulants.
