Abstract

With regard to experimental rabbits, the activity of SOD enzyme of treated group was higher than that of control group significantly. Conversely, the serum MDA level of treated group was lower than that of control group significantly. The results on volunteer patients were similar, meanwhile, the serum MDA level of treated group was reduced specifically at day 10 th and 17 th after being burnt. VB09 showed the antioxidant activity in burn poisoning treatment through reducing the SOD enzyme activity and increasing the MDA level in serum samples obtained from the experimental rabbits and volunteer patients.
