Abstract

Currently, in some European Union countries there are numerous processes of formation of adults that facilitate the increased schooling of the population, to face the challenges of economic globalization, technology and communication. Given the current processes and practices of education and training in Portugal, and set the agenda of the European Union and other organizations, it is urgent to check whether these methods of qualification of adults are in fact the most appropriate and if they lead to a truly meaningful learning. The relevance of this study follows on the many difficulties experienced by trainees in some of the Nuclear Generators in the fields of Society, Science and Technology.
