A polystyrene–TiO2 nanosandwich film was fabricated by spin-coating a mixture of PS and Ti(O-n-Bu)4. Phase separation of the two components showed various morphological changes in the film, depending on the PS concentration, and sandwich-like phase separation was achieved for the first time. Doping pyrene as a fluorescent probe was employed to confirm the configuration of PS inside the nanosandwich structure.
